Dr. Donald Johnston

Dr. Johnston is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who provides quality orthopedic surgical care and treats sports-related injuries.

Dr. Johnston received his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City. He completed his residency in orthopedics at Deaconess Medical Center-West in St. Louis. He received a bachelor of science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Benedictine College in Kansas City.

Dr. Johnston is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics and past president of the Illinois Osteopathic Medical Society. A frequent speaker and presenter at professional and community organizations, Dr. Johnston is married with two children.

 

Dr. James Rushford

Dr. Rushford is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with wide-ranging experience in orthopedic surgery and the treatment of sports-related injuries.

Dr. Rushford is a graduate of the University of the New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Portland, Maine. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Delaware Valley Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. He received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry at the University of Maryland Baltimore County in Catonsville, Maryland.

Dr. Rushford is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery, and the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, among other professional organizations.

Retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service, Dr. Rushford is married with two children.

 

Dr. Thomas Meyer

Thomas Meyer, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with expertise in a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Meyer graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Minnesota Hospitals, and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

He has special interest in sports shoulder and knee problems and arthroscopic treatment of them. He has served as one of the volunteer orthopedic surgeons at the U.S. Olympic training facility in Colorado Springs and has been a team physician with the U.S. Olympic water polo teams.
