The Center for Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine (COSSM) at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital was established in 2008 as an expansion of Illini Sports Medicine.
With one of the most experienced orthopedic and sports medicine staffs in the Midwest, we specialize in the treatment and prevention of orthopedic problems and sports-related musculoskeletal injuries. Our medical staff includes two orthopedic surgeons and three sports medicine physicians. In addition to our clinical practice, we are also a teaching institute where other physicians from Saint Louis University receive their sports medicine fellowship training.
Our physicians are all board certified, and many are fellowship-trained, enabling the practice to handle a complete range of conditions or injuries in all major areas of orthopedics and sports medicine.
